Kind of funny that not so long ago a group of vocal fans had called for a boycott of Left 4 dead 2 believing it would mean the end of any new content for L4D. With the announcement of new campaigns and the recent release of authoring tools the game is a long way from dead. It’s living dead!

Crash Course Campaign Due in September

August 4, 2009 – Valve, creators of best-selling game franchises (such as Half-Life,Portal, Team Fortress, and Counter-Strike) and leading technologies (such as Steam and Source), today announced the next major downloadable content (DLC) update for its co-operative zombie thriller, Left 4 Dead (L4D), the #1 new game title on Xbox 360 and PC in 2008 

Entitled “Crash Course,” the latest DLC delivers new single-player, multiplayer and co-operative gameplay to both platforms. Targeted for release in September, “Crash Course” bridges the gap between the end of the “No Mercy” campaign and the beginning of “Death Toll” in the original game, expanding the game universe with new locations, new dialogue from the original cast, and an explosive finale 

While containing both Survival maps and a Co-operative Campaign, the primary goal of “Crash” is to deliver a complete Versus mode experience in just 30 minutes, resulting in a streamlined version of the game’s existing Versus campaigns. A recharge timer for infected teammates has also been added, and item spawn behavior has changed for more balanced gameplay. 

“Since the release of Left 4 Dead last November, the design team has been excited about creating new experiences for this world and allowing players to do the same, by releasing much of our internal toolset, like the Survival Pack and Authoring Tools,” said Gabe Newell. “We’re working with the fans toward the ongoing entertainment value of the product.” 

Left 4 Dead is an action horror game from Valve that blends the social entertainment experience of multiplayer games such as Counter-Strike and Team Fortress with the dramatic, narrative experience made popular in single player action game classics such as the Half-Life series of games. Released in November of 2008, L4D has earned over 50 industry awards from outlets around the world and sold almost 3 million copies worldwide. 

Left 4 Dead: Crash Course is targeted for release in September and will be available free of charge on the PC and for 560 Gamer points on Xbox Live.

Installation
1. Run Tribes_ReVengeance_x2.exe and extract to Hard Drive.
2. Edit the “Tribes Vengeance” shortcut properties to point to the path you extracted to. eg – C:\Program Files\VUGames\Tribes Vengeance\Program\Bin\TV_CD_DVD.exe” -console and copy to desktop.
3. Run tribeskeychanger.exe in Program\Bin and enter your key. We highly recommend buying T:V from ebay or http://www.direct2drive.com/98/product/Buy-Tribes:-Vengeance-Download You can however find an online key generator here – http://www.cdaction.pl/seriale/Tribes_Zemsta Enter a valid email address and click button. You will not get spammed! The Polish basically reads “key sent to ” Wait a few mins for an email with your key. While you’re waiting read the T:V Newblood Guide in the X-tra folder! Run tribeskeychanger.exe in \Program\Bin and enter your key. and if you like it buy it!
4. Doubleclick on the desktop shortcut and load the game up, set your options, controls and create your profile.
5. Play and pwn. Team POOT!

Outbreak Charcter Pack

Agent Wilkes: Publicly, Horzine Industries was hard at work fulfilling an MOD contract to develop the world’s most advanced combat armor. Privately, they were cloning a subterranean army of violent and unfortunate looking servants. As Wilkes will testify, having found and liberated their Mark 7 suit, they were great at multitasking.

Foundry Worker Aldridge: When you’re being paid more than three times the expected salary for unskilled labor, you learn not to ask questions. When inhuman screams can be heard from further down the assembly line, you close the door and take lunch break. When the door flies off its hinges and a mangled combination of man and machine comes charging in – lunch break is over.

DJ Scully: DJ Scully was AWOL from the military and spending his nights in the London underground spinning dark drum and bass, working under the table for the many clubs in London. During one of his sets he witnessed all his fans get shredded to pieces by a giant creature with flesh blenders for hands. These unfortunate events have thrust him back into the combat he was running away from.

Dr. Gary Glover: As one of the only survivors from the Horzine Biotics Labs staff, Dr. Glover had a major hand in creating the horror that is now tearing London apart. As hard as he tries, he can’t put this genie back in the bottle – not even with a double barreled shotgun.

• Fixed specimens not playing a movement animation after breaking down a door
• Fixed Map White List retaining old Pass/Fail status from previous map
• Fixed the Hunting Shotgun’s unlimited ammo bug
• Removed Stats Icon from servers that are currently on a non white listed map
